"Jack...you can't be serious."
Said a voice as Jack and Sally walked out of the grave yard hand in hand.
"Dr.Binkinstine? What ever do you mean?"
Jack called out as he stepped into the light of a lamp poast where Dr.Binkinstine resided, Sally on his arm.
"Jack, you truely can't be in love with this...rag doll. She's not even capable of love."
"Sally is capable of love and compassion. She has proven that more than once."
Sally all the while was so close to Jacks side that she was half behind him.
"Your dreaming Jack. She is full of leafs and lacks a pulse. Tell me, How could such a creature show acts of compassion?"
"She is the most loveing person in Halloween Town wether you see it or not."
"She can't feel the snow on her shoulders or the wind on her face. How could you ever expect her to feel your love or for that matter return it?"
"Sally doesn't need this, not from you or anyone. All she has done is try to help and want some freedom."
Jack turned to Sally and grabbed her hand.
"Sally I think we should go."
Turning on hie heel he stocked off down the dark street with Sally by his side.
"Never mind what he says Sally. He doen't know you like I do."
"But Jack he's rite. I can't feel the wind or snow. I do lack a pulse ans I am stuffed with leafs. Maybe I don't know what love is. Maybe we shouldn't be together."
Sally said. She seemed to be getting sadder with every word she spoke.
"Don't let what he said shake you. I love you and you love me, thats all the matters."
"Oh Jack. How could you love a rag doll? Maybe it would be best to find someone more like you."
Jack stopped along side Sally and rested both his sceliton hands on her shoulders.
"Sally I love you. I don't care that you have no pulse or that you can't feel a thing. I love you for who you are not for what your not."
Sally brighten as she fell into his arms and rested her cheek on his chest.
"I love you too Jack."
